The permitting phase is one of the more unpredictable components of the project timeline. Permit reviews are subject to the discretion and timelines of the permitting agencies reviewing the project. CBE works closely with the agency reviewers during the preliminary and design phases to reduce the opportunity for any “surprises” to pop up during official plan reviews.
During the construction administration phase, we hold a pre-construction meeting with all interested parties to ensure that everyone is on the same page before we begin building. During the pre-construction period, we also respond to any Requests for Information (RFI), review submittal drawings, and work hard to resolve any questions or concerns.
We have an excellent rapport with numerous administrative professionals responsible for the review and approval of our projects. These relationships help us streamline the permitting process and get to the construction phase with little to no disruption. Not only do we handle the initial permit review submittals; we also address all comments and coordinate with agencies directly to alleviate any issues that arise.
